Full-court shot for winner

Thought you might enjoy viewing this video of a 80-plus foot shot at the buzzer for victory from Minnesota last night. Video is within the news article.

No Way ...

Very cool. Thanks for sharing TriggerMN.

I love how Red 23, and Red 3, are just standing there, in the lane, dumbfounded, at the very end of the video.

And another red player is sitting in the lane at the other end of the court.

1. Does MN have the visiting team wear white?
2. Anyone have an issue with the winning team celebrating directly in front of the other team's bench?
3. What is the old Trail officiating on the play? Is there any reason to be further down the court than the scorer's table?

1) Preseason tournament game maybe? Otherwise not sure why

2) Nope. I see no evidence of a taunt, it was an in the moment reaction to mob the kid, he just happened to be right there.

3) From the "HD" video you can start to see two players begin a sprint to the other end, I think he was likely moving with that matchup but eased up when the ball was in the air and it was clear that there was nothing going to happen between the two

We're proceeding with all due haste out of the gym. I don't see this as a reason to stop.

Yes, in Minnesota the home team wears dark and the visitors white. We've also been using 18 minute halves in varsity contests for a number of years. For some reason our state association always want to do something different.

It was a standard regular season conference game. Both these teams are members of the same league. As stated later on in MN the home team wears the dark(or colored) uniforms and the visitor wears white.
