You will find that doing the opposite of what deecee posts on this forum is often the right path.

All this over a travel/foul call? OK.

Peace

these were 1A schools in Texas. That classification was just changed so that football and all the other sports would be in an actual class. Previously it was called something else (can't remember) because they play 6-man football.
It WAS 1A, and still is. Has been since 1980 when they eliminated Class B and went from 1-5A. Starting with the 2014-15 season, they added a 6A. What they did do, and what I think you're talking about, is that there is no more 1A 11-man football. All 1A schools play 6 man football (or perhaps don't play football). I'm sure there was some reorganization with small schools that played 11 man football and used to be in 1A, but other than moving schools around, that didn't affect basketball.

Previously, schools that played 11-man football and 6-man football might have been in the same 1A district for basketball and other sports.

Useless communication, what's the point of this?

This is such an easy T. There's zero improvements to the game treating coaches like mother-in-laws.

It's not just you out there, but your entire association. New refs have to deal with off-the-wall coaches because vets take this whole "coach relationship" way too far. Be professional and make the correct calls. The coaches can respect you or sit down.
