Pregame conference: "On a free throw, when you're the lead, be sure to give me good, crisp, accurate, bounce pass."

No nostalgia for some of the dumb stuff we did back then. Going Cadillac. Signaling (as the trail) every made shot.

How quaint? Mid twentieth century mechanics.

Do you remember those days, Mark T. DeNucci, Sr.?

That was the mechanic in the 90s. I did that the first 3 or 4 years of my career.

HS game, 1967, we wore high socks, with our school colors at the top. I was at the free throw line to shoot 2, and after the Trail handed me the ball, I noticed that one of my socks had fallen down . So, I handed him the ball, and raised my sock. He then gave me the ball, and as I was about to shoot, he whistled me for the 10-second violation. I asked him why, and he then told me what the rule was . . . I did make the second shot . . .

Did he know the part of the rule about you relinquishing player control of the ball to an official during your FT attempt?
