I was watching the LLWS game between Wilmington, DE, and Chandler, AZ, on television this afternoon, and I was suprised by the color or collors of the Wilmington, DE, pitcher. The pitcher's glove was multi-colored: a tan web and black fingers. I thought that multi-colored gloves on a pitcher were illegal at all levels of baseball.

Little League 1.15-
(a)The pitcher's glove shall be uniformed in color or of varying shades of the same color, and may have contrasting stitching, lacing, and/or webbing, providing the glove, lacing or webbing is not white or gray.

From your discription, it sounds okay to me.

How does having a tan web and black fingers conform to the LL rule you quoted. Tan and black are not varying shades of the same color. They are two very different and distinct colors.

Read it again,Mark. The webbing isn't white or gray, so the tan webbing it has is legal with the contrasting black fingers.

That's exactly what it means. You can bet Jurassic is.

(Sorry, couldn't pass up the pun.)
