One-Pitch Strikeout
 

This was, I thought, interesting so thought I'd share:

Wow.

That's one of those rules I never thought I'd see enforced against a player of shaving age.

And I thought I'd never see a professional baseball player continue to refuse to get into the batter's box after having one dead-ball strike declared on him.

And I'll bet that will be the last time he refuses.

Sometimes, you just have to umpire!

Professional players are becoming way too bold these days. Everyone seems to have an ax to grind with the PU. Call a strike on them and they go off the wall.

I saw that the other day when it came out. I love it! Should be called more often at all levels...slows the game down when these "stars: step out of the box and seem to be in no rush to get back in!

And, a lot of that comes from people on ESPN and MLB Network like Curt Schilling and Harold Reynolds justifying the argument on national television with their "he got caught up in the moment and the umpire over-reacted" crap.
