Pop up, tag
 
Runners 1st & 3rd, one out. Popup caught by second baseman, runner tags at 3rd, but not at 1st. Runner crosses plate before second baseman throws to 1st for 3rd out due to no tag. No run?

Dash is right (of course). So, for the OP -- what are the three exceptions to the general rules that "a run scores when the runner crosses the plate before the third out?" Do you see that none of them applies?
