Batter Interference
Using the chart on Page 36 of the NFHS rule book. Activity 2. Would that be what is used for a runner on third who is stepping towards the plate but dives back into third on an attempted putout by the Catcher? The batter was ruled to have interfered with the catcher. Or, would we go with Activity 1?

If the runner is going back to third, the batter is out. If the runner is advancing to home, the runner is out. (Both of the above with fewer than two out, of course).
