Well fellow officials, I have to admit when I am wrong, and that is what I am doing today. In earlier reply to a similar topic, I posted that I was very impressed with +POS and that I would order from them again.

Unfortunatley, I will have to order from them again because of the fact they supply uniforms for minor league baseball and I am pursuing a career in umpiring at the major league level, however, if at all costs, I am going to avoid +POS in the future.

The service on my last two orders has been very, very poor and unprofessional. Emails never get replied too in a timely fashion, and it seems you get passed from person to person when you call them directly.

So, I agree with all the opinions of +POS.

Very good friend of mine worked 4 or 5 seasons for PBUC, the pants POS has for them are very nice.....I just recieved 2 pair from friend, he used them for the 99 season when Pujols was a youngin(pal tossed him 3 times in one season!!) Pants are in great shape, no pink color like they get when sun-bleached...pleated and they got a nice looking +pos logo embroidered... +POS is gonna take care of the PBUC guys, first and foremost...us lowly amatuers are second fiddle

I am very impressed with Honig's. I am new to baseball and always ordered my basketball things from getofficial.com but just last week I ordered two shirts, pants, a hat and a mask. It was at my door 2 days later. I guess my only complaint was that the velcro on the mask pads were not sewn on straight but I don't know if Honig's did that. When my fitted hat was too big (doh!) I ordered one on Monday afternoon and I got it today.

I am very satisfied with Honigs service, and most items. However, my experience with their pants has been less than satsifying. I purchased plate pants from Hongigs twice and and both pair turned "pink" in less than two seasons.

Thus, twice burned, I have learned.

Hope you got some Fechiemers!!! They still "PINK OUT", I was looking at the fold on the bottom where they were altered, BIG diff in the color....mo money/mo money..... I have figured, plates one season and base the next....alternate the purchase...onto plate shoes, working some juco stuff this past weekend, my 10 year old +POS low-tops blew the sole, it was a flapper, got some tape from one of the teams, but I was not happy, looked like a "zebra", OK for football...but....
