Okay, Jim Joyce trending on Twitter...what did he do now?
Apparently Jim Joyce is feeling the wrath of the typical idiot fanboys and girls on Twitter for a call in the Pirates game today. Anybody have any details? I would just love for one of these monkeys to try and do better out there. Apparently they are all freakin' umpiring experts.

Usually Reddit's baseball section jumps at any opportunity to slam umpires, and there's no mention there.

I had to download it, expand to full screen and run in slo-mo about 6 times before I concluded that it was a good call. The tag was about 8-10 inches up the arm towards the elbow as hand reached the bag it appears to me.
In any event it was a banger, and he only got one look at regular speed. |
The Orioles fans were the ones bashing him on Twitter, and if I remember right, that call went for them. Something else had to have happened later in the game.
