I mentioned it in another post, but I have officiated all levels of amateur baseball and the most trouble seems to come from youth parents and coaches. I think the issues lies within the fact that a good majority of coaches at this level do not know half of what they think they know and that the parents think "Little Johnny" is going to be the next superstar so everything bad has to be due to the fault of others.

Sounds to me while there was a ball hit into the field of play that it had no bearing on the play. Parents and coach were looking for an excuse and someone other than their-selves to blame for a loss.
