Hitter being hit by pitch

If a batter tries to swing on a pitch and the ball hits his front forearm....what is the call ? He completed the swing.

Yes it is. The ball is dead and a strike is called. If it is the third strike, the batter is out.

If he swings at the pitch, it's a strike. Even if it hits him in the forehead.

Or some other more valuable place. But watch for the concussion symptoms, because we stayed at a Holiday Inn last night and we've got it covered....:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I had a High School game several years ago...lunkhead swung a pitch that hit him in the helmet.

I called TIME and strike and the coach came unglued.

Had one yesterday. Batter swung at a pitch right at him, hit him right in the chest. Was kinda weird and funny at the same time:confused:
