batter swings and misses, strike three. ball is low and bounces in but my catcher fields it clean. ump calls dropped third strike. was this the correct call? thx. geo.

Yes, the ump made the correct call, because the pitch was not caught in flight.
It must have been a heck of a pitch! :)
