jump turn to second

Hey,

I'm a 16U baseball player and one of my coaches is trying to get the pitchers to do a jump turn pickoff move to second like jump turn to first base.

I was wondering if that move is a balk or if it is perfectly legal.

I have seen this move before, and believe it is legal as long as the non-pivot foot is planted towards 2B before the throw. Done correctly, I haven't seen it called a balk before...
