Hey guys, saw some complaining bout working 9-10's in a thread below. I generaly do not work anything below 11-12's(we get 37 clams and work 2 man, with a time limit). 9:00 this am, assignor calls me at work begging me to work a Mustang game. I can't say no, he gives me choice of games when dispatching games each month, pays me early if I need it and is generally a great guy. I show up, check out my "cheat sheet" for the local rules, REAL funky. Only 10 batters per inning, continuous order. Pitchers can only go 2 innings, no balks, runners can't leave till ball reaches catcher, If 10th batter hits, ball is dead and inning over when ball and player touch home base. NEVER heard of this crap before, so I am a bit leary, also no time limit, 6 innings, 10 after 4.9-0, home leading, bottom 4th. First batter, K. Second gets a single, steals on passed ball. Next is another K. Last batter hit to F6, he bobbles(coach is screaming to "eat it")throw goes into DBT. TIME, 10th run scores, game over....elapsed time, 1:03.....Did I get lucky or what
