I'm new at this but I try hard to do my best for the kids. I had a two runners trying to get to second. one coming from first and the other coming back from third. They both got to second at the same time. The trailing runner grabbed the lead runner, turned him to third and pushed him back toward third. After the play, I called the lead runner out due to the assistance from the trailing runner.
I have read and reread the Little league rules and can't find anything about this. It appears I made a ruleing that dosn't exist but it still seems to have been the right decision.
Any insight would be appreciated.

This is addressed by Evans in the JEA. There's no reason why I would not rule Fed accordingly.

Runners may touch and assist each other, but the trail runner may not pass the lead runner. If that occurs, the passing (trailing runner) should be declared out. He should not be declared out until he has totally passed the preceding runner with his body.
