HS Season is over

I have my last regularly scheduled High School game today. District tournament starts next week for both baseball and FP Softball. Should be busy next week.

Here in Idaho, HS baseball is not a "sanctioned" sport. They do hold a State tournament but no one is assigned to travel to the tournament. If you are the host (and the host has always been the Boise, Idaho area) your local officials get to work the tournament; everyone else, independent of ability, sets at home and reads about it in the paper.

Last year the State Champion was our local Idaho Falls, Idaho Tigers. Sure would have liked to work some of the tournament.

Oh well, American Legion ball will start soon.
