I read my first article in the BUE tonight. Opened right up to page 106 and the book paid for itself right there. Good book, very fair price. Thanks Carl.

At my house it's both Christmas and Hanukkah. For some it's Kwanzaa. For others it's just another day. Please try to comprehend that not all people/families are alike. |
It doesn't have anything to do with "comprehending that all people/families are not alike".
It has everything to with admonishing a child for daring to express an innocent holiday greeting that is obviously part of her belief and value system. Admonishing anyone for expressing a holiday greeting for the holiday of their choice is knee-jerk political correctness at it's worst- be it Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or Festivus. If someone is truly hurt or offended by a kid writing the words "Merry Christmas", then it sounds like they have a problem comprehending that "everyone is not alike". |

So what does that mean? You shouldn\'t wish some one a Merry Christmas? If some one said to me Happy Hanukkah or Merry Kwanza or whatever it is that you say, it wouldn\'t bother me in the least. And just out of curiosity, why would someone be "offended" or bothered by someone saying Merry Christmas? |
This has clearly gone beyond the OP and is in a politcal arena. Some have one opinion, some have another, and while it\'s worth discussing, the discussion should take place elsewhere.
