Surprisingly as it might seem, Carl and I discussed his "new" mechanics approach about six years ago through a number of private e-mail exchanges. But the idea of starting in "B" with no one on is not something my association will condone.

I was also part of that (and I miss it dearly, T!) and with all due respect it was a bad idea then, and it is just as bad now.

Have you tried it? MTD, Jr., and I use it during the summer league ball and we will even use it during the spring for FR games. It works fine.

I sent Carl a message asking for his permission to post the e-mail he sent me few years ago that talks about the pros and cons of using his mechanics. I'll post it as soon as he gives me the go ahead.
