I am planning on buying plate pants in the next week. Do you recommend getting pleated plate pants or flat front plate pant???

I'd check with your state association or local board. Ours, for whatever reason, prohibits pleated pants.

I prefer pleated especially for plate. They seem to look better with the leg guards and such,
