Double hit while in the Batter's Box

I thought this was a great slow motion video of something that you don't see every day. A batter striking the ball twice on one swing and hitting the ball fair for what was ruled a base hit. Has anyone ever made the Big Foul call in this situation?

I can't imagine ever being able to make a call like that at game speed. Just like the announcer said, "It sounded like a broken bat".

You'll make that call on bad bunt attempts and checked swing attempts that shouldn't have been, but at the professional level, it is nearly impossible to detect on a full swing.

At lower levels (NCAA, HS, Youth) the bat speed is not that fast and you can actually see the double hit therefore, you would be able to make the appropriate call.

Metal and composite bats seem to trampoline the ball too much for this to occur and be detected.

Are you saying that this double hit is a foul ball?

Isn't that what YOU would say? Any reason you can think of that it shouldn't be?
