Yeah, right! What dream was this in?

ozzy 6900, it's a simple post about a bizarre incident, one of dozens I had with this park/coach/organization. No need to have a heart attack over it. :(

My bad. The Hahahaha was my response to the previous post. These darn forum postings are so hard to get a handle on, don't you think? :D:D:D

This whole discussion is starting to remind me of a card game. If only I could remember the name of that game.

Listen
Explain your call - including rules if required

Thank the coach but end the discussion.
If he wants to continue, then you can warn before ejection, or eject depending on the situation.

Simple, professional, easy and fair. ;)

Thank the coach...really?

"Thank you coach for being stupid...here's your sign!"

Cant fix stupid!

In the 1st game, I'm BU and the batter hits a liner down 3rd base line, which PU calls foul. 3rd base coach (HC) yells that ball was fair by 1.5 ft (spreads hands). PU says it was clearly foul. HC says"I have a better view than you". I did all I could to not laugh out loud. PU shakes his head and we play on...

In the 2nd game, I'm PU, runner on 1st stealing on the pitch, which was a caught foul tip, then defensive AC loudly complains that the runner cant steal as its a foul ball. I look over and stare at him, then put my hand up, as his HC says something in his ear.....

This happens at least once a year...always funny!

....had a coach holler yesterday to his pitcher, "You aren't looking at the runner on second. He is going to steal". Sure enough, next pitch R2 steals third. Coach calls time out. I grant it, assuming he is going to talk to pitcher. Coach goes to my partner, BU, and says the runner should go back because he heard him talking to pitcher. His argument was that he was stealing signs. My partner told him that the only thing he stole was third. I had to put my mask onto cover my laughter.

Maybe start by trying to get a handle on using emoticons.
