I think I just paid for it tonight...three plates in.

Pitch in the dirt, one hopper right up into the bottom of my rib cage...didn't feel a thing. May have cracked a rib otherwise.

Ahhhhhh...money well spent. My games today already paid for it.

My timing couldn't have been better to upgrade my CP. Took a shot to the collar bone today wearing my Gold...honestly, I don't even want to know what it would've felt like with my old one. Took two today, one during opening inning warm up pitches too.

Also, a good shot off of the titanium mask. Didn't rattle this old fella a bit. I love good equipment.

Wilson Titanium...wanna buy mine? It has a small dent in the front that's barely noticeable.

Need it for about another month or so.

On the subject of titanium masks, there is a Nike mask on eBay right now. It was up to $280 earlier today with several days left. I'm sure it will end up around 400 bones. I guess the scarcity of those things is what makes them so valuable....

Dave's Sport Shop will order an All-Star FM25TI in whatever configuration you want it. As I found out, probably more cheaply (even considering tax) than an online shop.
