OT - Fan Acting Badly Gets Zapped
Police probing taser use during Phillies game - USATODAY.com
I kinda like the thought that if a fan jumps a fence and runs on the field he might get tased. Deterrent? |
They don't let us bring our own handguns onto the field...I checked. Maybe they'll let us carry Tasers?
|
If it keeps idiots off the fields they should use them on the managers as well :-D

At 17 years of age, even humans have amassed enough intelligence to make reasonable decisions. But then again, sometimes the lesson just has to be reinforced!!!
Oh Well. |

Moral of the story:
Keep yo azz off the field. |

" Hi, Dad. I'm at the game and I want to do something REALLY stupid--run on the field. Any advice?"
"Go for it, son, and I'll be watching! Just don't turn your back on the guy with the taser. Good luck." |
I prefer the Mike Curtis method of fan removal.
|
I prefer the Randy Myers method.

Catch him, cuff him, let him spend the night in the cooler, and Dad can pay to get him out in the morning. I don't think tasing was necessary.

The Phillies are probably sensitive about security after the vomit attack on that 11-year-old girl 3 weeks ago.
You can see a photograph of the criminal vomiter here: Matthew Clemmens, Criminal Vomiter [PIC] |
I wonder...
If MLB crews would like to have one available for use in certain parks in the SE US for certain long-time managers who have long and dignified histories of minor complaints concerning umpire's rulings....

"No, it wasn't necessary. We should have allowed the little dear to play in the grass as much as he wanted, then given him a juice box and let him have a nap." Ye gods, man. |
