I'm Spoiled
 

Had my first college DH (2-7's) last weekend, after this experience I don't want to go back to high school games, I'm spoiled.

AD met us in the parking lot one hour before game. "Hi gentlemen let me show you to your locker room" :cool: Carpeted with a couch, and chairs better then my living room, secured lockers, clean showers, but most of all space, space and more space! :) We change our clothes, 20 minutes before game time we walk out to hike to the field and who do we find waiting for us? You guessed it, the AD, in a waiting golf cart to give us a ride to the field, between games and after the last game. Beverages during and between games.

Plus, first pitch was 12:00, I was in my car heading home 4:10. No more games for this season at this school can't wait to go back.....maybe next year I'll put in a request.

The only downside to the weekend was the next day when reality slapped me in the face with another DH at a different school. This time we were schlepping in a gravel parking lot dodging the rain drops:( outdoor porta potty and I'm glad I brought my own water to the game.

It was nice while it lasted:)

Started reading your post and thought, reality will come somewhere in this and alas ... been there done it.

Sure is nice to be treated nicely though even if its just for a moment!
