Has anyone got their copy yet?

Being a major contributor must have its benefits.

Yep per.

Very valuable.

It took me awhile to learn how to use it because it contains so darn much information in a format that I wasn't used to.

Are there any projections as to when it will be shipped out? It's almost 2010... ;)

I'm not in that big of a rush for mine as I'm shifting gears to football season... but, I'm excited to get and read the "baseball bible."

2009 baseball, for most of us, is over or nearly so. If you haven't received the 2009 BRD yet, why not cancel it and order the 2010?

If you do, don't wait until next August to complain that you haven't received it.

There is some logic to this. :D

What, if any differences have arisen since the 2008 edition?

Why do we need a new one of these so often?

You don't realize that the rule change every year?

Kevin Finnerty Fri Aug 21, 2009 09:57pm

Really?

Was that something to disagree with?

Wow, you're really good at this.

If you work one rule code, you don't.

Or, if you have access to all the interps sent out each year in memos to NCAA supervisors, MiLB umpires and state FED interpreters; and, if you are privy to all the explanations that Mr. Childress gets to his questions of those in charge of interpreting the various codes; and, if you can quickly find the corresponding rules for comparison, you don't.

However, I certainly wouldn't be satisfied with receiving the 2009 edition after the 2009 season is over. Talk about sh!tty customer service.
