Question

I was looking at one of my favorite online auction sites and came across entries for items being auctioned by former MLB Umpire Ken Kaiser.
I was suprized to see that Kaiser is auctioning off his World Series ring, and an All-Star ring. Also auctioning off a large set of his Uniform shirts. Politics and tactics aside, Im sorry to see this happen and hope that some additional misfortune hasnt caused this.......

Perhaps Ken is in Financial Trouble. I've seen a documentary on ESPN on former players who have won the Super Bowl auctioning off there memorabilia.

In all cases in was for Financial Reasons, especially when dealing with something as precious as a World Series Ring.

Do not like to assume anything but from your thread is sounds as if that is the case.

Cool

There currently is an Eric Gregg Elbeco plate shirt on eBay. Another instance of former ML umpire gear for sale on the web.
