Obstruction in NCAA?
 
I saw this in a Regional tonight. 1 out runner on 1st.....BR hits a fly ball to center,runner going on the pitch,SS fakes a ground catch and somewhat of a tag on the runner causing him to slide into 2nd.F8 catch and doubles up runner @ 1b

Do you have obstruction on the simulation of the catch or does it only come on a fake tag?

No rule against fake tags in NCAA

Right. And even in FED, I don't have obstruction on this play (as described -- I didnt' see it).
