I just saw last night that Rex is moving to a new location. It appears he is out for a few weeks while he sets up his new store.

Here are a few others:
Gerry Davis (Gerry Davis Sports: An umpire and referee equipment store featuring quality umpire equipment, apparel, education and clinics by professional umpire, Gerry Davis)
The Referee's Call (Referee Equipment | Umpire Equipment)
Lester Upstate Sports (Umpire equipment sports referee officiating gear and clothing accessories)
Torch's Referee & Umpire Supplies (referee, umpire, supplies, equipment, basketball, football, baseball, shirts, shoes, accessories, athletic, price, quality, face masks, whistles, officials, sports) [new, better website]

Hope this helps.

Completely ignore the Gerry Davis Signature Shirts by Cliff Keen. They are everything you don't want: They run small; they don't breathe; the fabric doesn't give. I own many brands and colors and these are the absolute worst--even worse than the first-generation Official's Choice. And everything at Gerry Davis is as high-priced as Honig's--another reason to steer clear.

Purchase Official's Supplies is definitely another outstanding outfit to add to the general list of umpire supply sites. Unimpressive web site, but very professional guys.

But the shirt that you described is basically the Dalco--if you want a quality loose-fitting, professional-looking, breathable mesh--or Official's Choice, if you want poorly-made rookie gear from a company that's becoming the laughingstock of the industry ... one umpire at a time.

Dalco is available at Ump-attire.com and Between the Lines. You can't go wrong with either of those sites, whose owners are as personal and professional as the P.O.S. guys. (But P.O.S. is phasing out Dalco. They feature Smitty's, which, after you get over the name, is the most comfortable, best-fitting and best value of the medium-weight closed mesh, which is not what you're after.)

Go to Jim Kirk at Ump-attire.com and try the Dalco.

I personally don't like the Dalco shirts; they tend to itch a bit. YMMV, though. You can get the Smitty's shirts at Purchase Officials 2 for 40 still I believe, and those are super comfortable. I bought a couple a few weeks ago from there and love them. A good mix of being breathable without being so light that you can see your shirt/CP underneath.

I agree with you. But he wanted breathable mesh shirts, and the Dalco are preferable to the Official's Choice in that type of shirt.

I love the Smitty's. I wear them most of the time now, and I got several of them from P.O.S. also. I prefer them to the Honig's, and at the price, it's a no-brainer.

I said Smitty's, not OC, amigo. I'm guessing that's a brain fart. I've only owned one Dalco shirt, and I remember it being heavy and itchy. They may have changed since then, I guess.
