Jermaine Dye & Mike DiMuro

Not sure if anybody else saw this ejection from today's Indians/White Sox game.

Baseball Video Highlights & Clips | CWS@CLE: Dye and Guillen are ejected in the sixth - Video | MLB.com: Multimedia

I couldnt believe the helmet hit DiMuro right in the stomach. Im curious what the suspension ends up being. Hopefully it is a big one.

Why should it be a big one? The helmet took a weird bounce, right into the umpire. Dye didn't appear to intentionally throw it at him.

Because the big jack@$$ threw it back at HP as he walked away. No one there except the umpire & F2 to hit. No excuse in the world for this one, Dye knew exactly what he was doing.

He intentionally threw it behind him. I think 5 games would be in order. What was wrong with that pitch???

What was wrong with the pitch was that he was probably looking for something off speed or middle/out...a great pitcher's pitch. I've seen Dye hit a bunch of bombs off of that pitch...great pitch. Don't throw your helmet at the umpire. He was in the game until that episode.

Do you have to interject your thoughts from a previous thread into every other thread? It was old then and is old now. Let it go for cryin out loud.

Obviously you missed the smiley at the end of the sentence.

Then again, you're probably trying to bait me.

Obviously, what you deem to be simple humor, others view as unecessary and over the top. Maybe that was the point. Food for thought.

Hardly one to go nuts over and get ejected.

That's why smileys exist. They're used to point out humor or facetiousness. If one is too blind to notice them and understand their use, there is nothing I can do to educate said reader.
