Three No-Hitters

I've worked three high school games so far this year - two behind the dish and one on the bases.
I've had no-hitters thrown in each of the three.

Two were in the first round of a preseason invitational tournament, and the other was a non-conference game that I thought would be pretty good.

I can't remember three no-hitters in a season, much less the first three games.

You shouldn't have said anything. No doubt you've angered the baseball gods, and the rest of your season will be 7+ inning, 28-27 slugfests that take over 4 hours to play.

Any coach that throws a kid all seven innings in a pre-season tournament game should re-examine all of his priorities. Quitting coaching should be something he considers while he's at it.

But aside from that, three no-nos in a row is astonishingly great. Wow! May never happen again in your life.

Actually, the run rule got one of them in five (kid probably didn't throw 60 pitches), and in the other tournament game two pitchers teamed up to pitch the no-no.

It was in the high 70's here last week, and some teams have been playing for about two weeks.

I consider it a no hitter when the ball no hit me!:D

I once had a double no-hitter. Squeeze bunt in bottom of 7th won it.

exactly what I was thinking

Cardfan, I'm glad to hear they weren't exploiting their pitchers just to get no-nos.
