Jump I disagree.
1. If the defense obtains an unfair advantage within the guidelines of the rules, then who are we to rule otherwise. 2.Safety? heck the next thing will be saying is that ball players need to start wearing hockey equipment. JUST IN CASE. I think you are also trying to justify a borderline call after the fact. There is "bugger picking", and then there is "BUGGER PICKING". Neither of which, in this case, I would do. Just my opinion.
