I know both the author and her "inspirational" husband. We all went to college together and I actually had a case against her husband about, get this, bubble gum machines and covenants not to compete-"Big Bubble Vending Co. vs. Tri-State Bubble, Inc." The case went to the Kentucky Court of Appeals. I represented Tri-State and won at both the trial and appellate levels. Big victory, the court chose not to publish the opinion in the annals of Kentucky law so no one knows what a great lawyer I was in re: Bubble gum machines and sales contracts.(grin)
