Jeff,

Have a picture of the tie-dye shirts by any chance?

No, I was not around. I did see the shirts after the games that night. I am sure someone has those pictures. You might have to contact Jeff or Danny.

Peace

Thank you for making my point. The "majority of baseball umpiring methods" are just plain stupid. Case in point: There are still grown men wearing beanies, and trying to earn respect at the same time.

And cream is basically white, only if you get dressed in the dark.

Yeah, why are they wearing wristbands on the field?

The shirts look ridiculous, too.

I agree! The guy on the right looks wrong in combo pants. Too flappy.

I absolutely detest the charcoal gray slacks; I would never wear the cream colored or black shirts either.

I am a traditionalist or old school (not that Old School for you buys from the basketball forum) you might say. I really liked it when the MLB umpires went to the navy blue, powder blue, and red shirts with heather gray slacks. The navy blue shirt is the OhioHSAA shirt for both baseball and fastpitch softball; and naturally I have powder blue for ASA fastpitch softball and red for USSSA fastpitch softball. I utilize all three colors during the summer baseball season.

But my favorite unorthodox shirts are the white with navy blue collars and cuffs. Mark, Jr., and I bought a set for summer baseball; they really look sharp with heather gray slacks and navy blue hats.

This is not true. My Fechs lasted four years. My Honig's have lasted three so far.
