Grey Ball Bag

I ordered a bunch of stuff from Honig's a few weeks ago and decided to include the grey ball bag in my purchase just to give it a try. I have come to really like the camoflauge it provides. Does anybody else wear grey or am I on my own on this one?

I have one, but it doesn't match all my grays.

That's why I switched from the grey to blue / black.

...But the grey one is a good place to store stuff. :)

Grey ball bag? I've never seen a game played with grey baseballs.

canacaump6,

I have 2 grey ball bags and 2 black. I tend to wear the grey with a Navy shirt and heather pants and the black with everything else.

I have 2 grey and 2 navy. I wear navy most of the time but I use the grey with the black or cream shirts. I would use black with those but I already own the grey ones and don't want to buy 2 more bags.

I keep my plate shoes in my grey ball bag, in my trunk.

They're easier to disguise them when wearing them on the bases. Where else are you going to keep your indiclickicator and base brush?

You lost me. I've never seen a game played with Navy or Black baseballs either. What does it have to do with the color of ball bags?

Grey ball bag, as in bag for grey balls.................(duh)................

I wonder if they'll feel the same as the blue ones.

Grey helps prevent drawing attention to a bag of accessories.

I have no grey bags, but I do have a gray one (which I don't use).

Gray is standard these days.
Blue only when 20o F and below.

Well there's the problem right there! You're carrying a bag full of accessories instead of just the game balls!

Indicator, plate brush, watch, lineup card holds, pencil and baseballs all constitute accessories IMO.

?
You won't notice a grey ball bag as much as you would a black or navy.

Do you really not recognize when someone is just kidding around?

RPatrino Sat Jun 28, 2008 05:20pm

Umm, lets see. Indicator goes in my left hand, plate brush goes in my right back pocket, watch stays in the car, line up card holder/pen goes in shirt pocket, baseballs go in ball bag. I use two ball bags, new/better balls go in the right one, dirty/not so good ones go in the left. I also keep lip balm in the left ball bag. So there!!! LOL

Do you truly believe that attention is actually paid to your ball bags ? Unless
you are A) wearing grossly mismatched bags, or B) wearing them on the bases, I doubt anyone is genuinely focusing on your ball bags.

jicecone Sat Jun 28, 2008 09:36pm

I got it, two camoflauge bags and everthing will be camoflaged.

It is a little hairy when you go to a redneck baseball game and everyone wears camoflauge. I guess then and only then woud grey be better, because then you could find your ballbag.

You know your going to have a long night when the coaches bring camoflauged baseballs to the pregame meeting because the budget wasn't passed again this year.
