Under OBR or other rulesets, isn't a runner allowed in beisbol?

Great story, Jurassic. Baseball players and coaches could take a note or two about sportsmanship from these players!

However in OBR & FED, the coach may put in a substitute runner to complete the base running as the ball is dead already due to the ball leaving the playing field. I am not sure about softball rules.

They could, but they won't. The difference is, they're girls. Ever do a game with a girls softball game going on on an adjacent field? I think they have a cheer for 2 and one, one out, nobody on. Sometimes they sing. It's a beautiful thing. The only female rats I know of coach basketball.

NCAA Softball has the same provision - I went and looked it up after seeing this elsewhere.
