Doesn't your state association return your corrected answer sheet soon after you mail it in?

In PA they dont even use the fed test each year as a learning tool. I understand it is used for first time applicants. Thats nice but too many times I have seen that many guys dont read the book even after officiating several years. I have tried to contact PIAA twice, in an effort to get the test issued to each official so if nothing else it could act as a tool to learning the rules.

I guess it is not that important of an issue because no one ever returns phone calls from their offices.

So bottom line is I cant help you .

NFHS Part I Test

We take the Part I as practice then take Part II for real. We do it every year for everybody. You must have a test score to be elligible for post season. Send me an email and I'll send you the answers. [email protected]

Not only do we not have to take a test each year in Pa, only the score is provided to new officials - not the corrected answer sheet. So it's not much of a learning tool even for the first year folks. You might want to talk to your district rep, jicecone, to see about getting a copy of the test and the answers. Use them in your chapter meetings for discussion purposes.

Steve, I have contacted everyone and their brother about this and it is like talking to a wall. The one reply I just recently got was from PIAA. I asked why the test could'nt be used for the existing members and the answer I got was the test is given to new applicants and would I be interested in applying. I dont know, mabey I'm just smoking something different than the rest of them. If they just told me not to bother them anymore is better than ignoring you. It takes all types.
