Opening Day

Set your alarm clocks because Opening Day is just a few hours away.

Boston and Oakland throw out the first pitch in Japan a little after 6:00 AM EDT.

Er, it's actually 6:05AM EDT tomorrow.

I'm totally ready to see my AAA's

er...A's in action!

It's silly to start the season a week before it should start. Looks like the Red Sox may have a bit of a challenge repeating their World Series championship now that Josh Beckett is injured. I'm going to have to go with the Mets. Any team with a 1/2 combination of Johan Santana/Pedro Martinez is going to breeze into the playoffs.

And when should it start? Seems to me that 3/25 is just as good as any other day.

Actually it's a pretty good day. It gives them time to get back for the 3rd game. :)

The umpires doing the Mets this year are going to see a lot of Santana and Martinez wins. And when the Mets breeze into the playoffs I wonder which crew will do their first series.:D
