OBR updated Rule books, where?

A look at Sporting News WEB SITE does not show rule books any longer? Are they out of that business?

TRIUMPH published now.. I see that they have an UPDATED 2007.. obviously I want an OBR with the RECENT CHANGES. But its $10.

I need 200 copies.

Does anyone know where one can get for a fair price over 100 OBR Rule books that are CURRENT?

I believe you can get the OBR as published by MLB from the Academy website.

At the end of 2006 MLB announced that they and only they would publish the rulebook in the future. I have since heard that some people have found a Triumph edition of 2007. I don't know if MLB later worked out an agreement with them. Sporting news has said they will not be publishing the rulebook.

I have one provided to the MiLB umpires by MLB. There is no mention of any publisher other than MLB anywhere in the book,

There is no reference to any publisher other than MLB anywhere on the book.

National Baseball Congress also used to publish the books. iirc, there were one or two minor differences with the sporting news edition (no one but us umpire geeks would even notice).

You could try a search to see if they have them.

Or, you might try Babe Ruth Baseball, or Pony Baseball. They both print the rules for umpires and coaches and you can order as many as you like, or at least you could at one time. You can ignore the special Babe Ruth or Pony rules if you are just interested in OBR
