Let me also inform you that this is not a simple rule. Sandiegosteve explained it very well though, according to the definition of a "bounding" ball in the rulebook. Even so, Jenkins and Bigump interpreted it differently, according to a ball passing the edge of the outfield fence. I respect both interpretations even though both parties would rule differently on the play. Having multiple interpretations just goes to show that this is not a simple rule for anyone who cares to read the rulebook, rather than getting a ruling from word of mouth. Bigump, Jenkins and SDS provided reasoning for the calls they would make, while all you did was tell me I wasn't a good umpire.
