Tim McCarver classic

I was watching the Fox game of the week this afternoon between the Mets and the Dodgers. After Brad Penney walked a leadoff batter, McCarver had this gem of a comment. He said "statistics show that 39% of all leadoff walks come around to score; folks that's approximately 40%".

McCarver has no excuse for moronisms like that. He went to a very upscale HS in Memphis where there was no lax for athletes academically, MOF, there was a major focus on athletes like him to be on top of their studies. Tim's ego gets in the way of his head.

Then, WTF, he's been doing this for decades? What does that tell you?

Yes, Tim McCarver assumes we are all a bunch of illiterates out here in TV land. He is certainly condescending.
