Walk-Off Walk

Bases loaded, two outs. Ball four to the batter. Does the batter have to touch fist in this situation. I know he does on a batted ball, but how about an awarded base? OBR and/or NFHS. This was asked of me and I'll need section numbers.

OBR: BR and R3 must advance. Look in "how a run scores" -- 4.09?

FED: All runners must advance.

Thanks Mr. Jenkins!

what do you guys think on a close pitch that the defense wanted for a strike ending the game? Have any objections to trotting off the field if the manager comes out in your face rather than watching all the touches?

Just curious.

You stay to see the touches or until the infielders leave the field, whichever comes first.

Watch. Eject if needed.

That is called a post-game ejection. Do not ever let anyone get away with something after the game that you would have ejected them for during the game. Write the report, submit it to whomever you need to, and forget about it. If an ejection carries a suspension, then he will sit the next game.
