Runner Misses HP on a Homerun

Did I get this correct: Batter hits a three run homerun. The R1 touches homeplate, R2 does not and the batter touches homeplate. I did nothing and awaited an appeal which was never made. Play on.

What is your point or question? I have never seen a missed base appeal by any runner on a home run. Absent an appeal in this case play on. If there is an appeal in this case let your conscious be your guide....

I have never seen this either, which is why I'm asking. The trail runner joined the rest of his team to celebrate the homerun and made not attempt to touch homeplate (not that the attempt matters). Does the fact that the missed base occurred on a homerun make any difference in the appeal process?

If the play was appealled and the third out was the result, would only the first run score?

NJ, on your first question, if no appeal is made, then nothing can happen. On your question regarding how many runs count, what does logic tell you? You know this answer....
