OBR and The Sporting News.

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't The Sporting News use to publish the Official Rules of Baseball?

Thanks for the quick reply. I guess that is why I couldn't find in on The Sporting News' website.

Just go to MLB - Rules of Baseball. It's always been there, and in exact language of the printed books. The Sporting News added a few things here and there that caused many an argument over the years. It had gotten to the point that people were qualifying their arguments as either "MLB Rules" or "MLB Rules as per The Sporting News!"

That Sporting News edition was nice because it had a stapled binding and was not very thick, very easy to carry around when you need some light reading. The 2007 Triumph book seems to be easier to read than the previous editions but I still prefer the SN edition. You might be able to get the 2006 Sporting News from Amazon.

The MLB version, which will be the only version, is now out.
