lightweight chest protector
 

i'm looking to downsize my chest protector. currently using west vest gold. great protection, but looks and feels like i'm wearing football shoulder pads. i'd appreciate recommendations on the best - but smaller chest protectors. i do a mix of D2, D3 and HS.

I know of some MiLB umpires who have switched to the All American hardshell. While it looks very similar to the WV Gold, I am told it is lighter, a bit thinner and the side protection pieces are more flexible and don't interfere with the throwing motion when getting a ball to the pitcher.
