This guy deserves to be banned from all minor league games for 10 years.

What I want to know is this: After seeing himself on video, is this rat embarrased for making an absolute fool out of himself, or is he proud of his childish display?

I was at that game last night, Mississippi Braves/Chattanooga Lookouts. It actually lasted a lot longer than the video, about 20 minutes.

They needed Brian Runge there. He would have shoved the dude off the field like he shoved Piniella today.

I showed this video to my six-year-old daughter and she said "He needs to grow up."

Indeed.

Let's face it, the fans love a good melt down. At the Pro level, it sells tickets.

As well it can get a flat time fired up.

I think he meant the crowd was bored ;). They needed to have their "flat time" spiced up a bit. Instead of a 7th inning stretch they got a 7th inning broohaha.

The Rosin Bag gernade toss did make me chuckle a bit...

Sorry Garth 10 games in 3 days makes me want to go back and hibernate in my igloo. ;)

I would've laughed louder had it hit the umpire on the fly. Then we could laugh at the manager's season-long suspension, too.

Questions......would you guys put up with 20 minutes of that in any other than a pro game? Should they put up with 20 minutes of that at the minor-pro level?

In any other level the game would have been forfeited, however, this is the pros. These guys are told to put up with this **** and just write up the report afterwards. Should they put up with it? No. Do they have to? Yes.

You guys are way too serious. This is the pros, they love this stuff. All about entertainment.


This was absolutely funny stuff - don't know where he got the army stuff and the grenade but my son and I laughed through the entire thing.

Hey, it will probably boost their ticket sales as the fans will have something to looks forward to.
