MLB rulebook

Just saw the new 2007 Edition of the Official Baseball Rules, published by MLB. Love the layout.

The book is the size and format of the old Sporting News editions, however, they have added spaces between paragraphs and between rule subsections making it an easier read. The result of the additional spacing has added some 20 pages to the book.

Unforutnately, they have gone to a "perfect bind" rather than "saddle stitch", meaning the pages are glued at the spine instead of stapled. By midseason, if it's used a lot, pages will probably come loose

You mean we're actually supposed to read that and reference it throughout the year? :-)

That won't be a problem for some guys in my assoc who's rule books always have that fresh-off-the-shelf crease

If there is a decent inside margin, you could take it to a print shop or Kinko's,
and have it comb or spiral bound.

My J/R fell apart in a month. I was very disappointed in the binding, considering the premium price charged for this work.

I holepunched it and put it in a binder.
