Anyone use these before? Thought about getting a pair, any other suggestions?

strap broke after 3 games and the other side is ready to go...you call davis and they say tough luck...brought back to where i bought and he says get new straps..i say f u and a strap should last longer than 3 games...

have used mine for 2 seasons, love mine, i did purchase extra straps just in case, but i always do that, i also have an extra harness for my mask, and a waist strap for my cp, like i said, just in case.

Ask Gerry what kind he wears.

I find them miserable and uncomfortable. Used mine for 2 seasons and realized that the strap behind the knee is there for a reason.

I believe in spending on chest protectors and masks/helmets, but I buy the cheapest shin guards I can find these days. I think mine are Diamond single knee guards.

well equipment is and always will be a personal thing, i happen too be very happy with mine. i would like too know what gerry does wear, i know i saw it here somewhere, i think he wears a douglas cp? i am curious though, so what does he wear?

I dunno, but I'll bet they have more than two straps.

I took the advice of everyone here and bought the McDavid's ankle tights. I sold my Davis shin guards and got $60 and then went out and got shin guards for free, because of a problem on an Ebay Transaction. Everyone told me not to spend anything on shin guards, I took everyone literally.
