Has anyone used getofficial.com for gear?
 

This is my first year working baseball and I was going to order the starter package from Honigs as I have been pleased with their basketball gear in the past, however the starter package from getofficial.com is over $100 cheaper. If the quality is comparable, I am going to order from them, but I figured I would see if anyone had any experiences with them first.

I have not used getofficial.com, but I think you should consider upgrading their CP to a hard shell. The protector in the package will get you hurt in anything other than slow pitch softball.

Buddy of mine used them for a basketball jacket. He said he didn't have any problems. As for the packages, there's a reason one of them is $100 cheaper (ncump has pointed out the chest protector). Be careful, the extra $100 is well worth it if it saves you a trip to the ER.

Thanks for the input, guys. I went ahead and ordered the Honigs package instead. Hopefully the quality is worth it.

From my experience, it certainly is! I have the K520 and it's worked great for me.
