can a 1st baseman's mitt be used elsewhere besides 1st base under Fed rules? as far as i recall FED only makes a distinction for a catcher's mitt.

i believe NCAA and PRO have separate regulations for 1st basman's mitts also - is this correct? thanks.

The only restrictions in FED are dimensions, and for pitchers, the color(s).
