Go Oregon State!!!
Yeah, off topic. But a fan needs to represent here! :D
I have umpired games that many of the Oregon State players played in high school. It is cool to see them having success! Go Beavers!!! |
I have been for OSU since Cal Fullerton got knocked out. Go Beavers!

Yeah, beavers!
Oh, wait, this has something to do with baseball? |
I hosted Kevin Gunderson when he played in the NECBL 2 summers ago so even though I am way over here on the east coast in UCONN territory, I gotta have a little beaver in me for this!!!

We are the Beaver State!!! :D

Everytime I see 'OSU' in ESPN's score box, I think: I don't remember the Buckeyes getting this far...

Thanks Eddie Haskell. That is who you remind me of. Or Larry Mondello.;)

If I owned some small, barely on the radar, football bowl game...that is always looking to somehow turn a profit...
I'd pray for South Carolina and Oregon State to both finish 6-5, and then try like hell to get them both to play each other in my bowl game. My bowl game would make a killing selling the game's t-shirts and hats...every pre-teen boy in American would buy one. |
HEY LADIES
If your from OSU SHOW US YOUR BEAVERS!!!!!!!! |
Saw it coming a mile away

LEAVE IT TO THE BEAVERS
OSU 2006 NCAA CHAMPIONS! |
Yay!!! What a great day for Oregon baseball as a whole!
|
If you look over Oregon State's roster, almost everybody is from Oregon or Washington, and most of their key players are from Oregon!
It is cool to see all these Northwest kids come together and have success! Oregon and Washington haven't been considered baseball hotbeds! |
So, who would want to be Mr. Steed (UNC F4) today?

Steve, I hope you are not a grief counselor in your other life :D "Cheer up, kid, you'll screw up a LOT worse than this later!" :D:D:D |
I was late on this thread
More's the pity. The beaver jokes appear to have run their course. Maybe.
Congratulations, Oregon State. I had a friend, Will Keim, who was a Philosophy professor out there years ago. We fell out of touch. Maybe he still teaches there. He was also a pitcher at Pacific in the early-mid '70s and used to tell the funniest stories . . . I digress. Will once told me that Corvallis is the only major college town in America more obscure than Fayetteville. I corrected him with Starkville, Stillwater, College Station and a few others. I also told him nobody who was not a geography major or a Nike exec knew where the hell Eugene was, either. The better team (on this particular night, at least) won. Congratulations! And you know what? I heard not one commentator talking about how the umps "stole" the game and gave it to Oregon State. You can bet that if Mark Cuban was a Tar Heel alum, you'd be hearing exactly that. Good for y'all. Now next year, the SEC can reassert its rightful dominance of the College Baseball world. My Hogs have been devestated by graduation and the draft, though . . . Strikes and outs! |
This is getting ridiculous, Bob. Steve said nothing to warrant another personal attack by this freakin child so please put a stop to it before it gets worse. Brad has assured me several times that these types of all out personal attacks by PWL would be dealt with. It's time to stay true to that word!
Tim. |
Yeah, you can't even dress that one up with lots of smilies and make it look good. Like the smilies made it okay or something. It's amazing that someone who knows absolutly nothing about me would dare make such a comment about my life. Very babyish.
